Gold prices dropped fifty baht to 20,100.00 baht per baht-weight in Bangkok on Saturday. The Gold Traders Association declared the buying value at 20,000.00 baht & the selling value at 20,100.00 baht per baht-weight for bullion. For ornaments, the buying & selling prices were 19,647.36 baht & 20,600.00 baht per baht-weight respectively. On Friday the buying & selling prices locked at 20,050.00 baht & 20,150.00 baht per baht-weight for gold bar & 19,692.84 baht & 20,650.00 baht per baht-weight for gold ornaments.

Standard gold (99.5 purity) climbed with Rs40 to finish at Rs29,520 per ten grams from Thursday's standard of Rs29,480. Pure gold (99.9 purity) too rose with the same amount to finish at Rs29,670 per ten grams from Rs29,630. However, silver (.999 fineness) dipped with Rs30 per kg to conclude at Rs39,545 as against Rs39,575.
